INTERN
Our relationships, experiences, and the way we understand ourselves can deeply shape how we navigate life. There are times in life when we can feel stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected from the people and relationships that matter most. When we are experiencing anxiety, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or other challenges, it can be difficult to know where to start. I believe therapy provides an opportunity to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion while gaining a deeper understanding of yourself and finding meaningful ways to move forward.
I believe that meaningful change begins with feeling understood and having a safe place to explore the experiences that shape us. I approach therapy with curiosity, compassion, and collaboration, drawing upon Gottman-informed principles and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and relationships.
I met clients where they are and seek to understand the experiences and relationships that have shaped who they are today. I enjoy working with teens and adults and especially interested in supporting individuals and couples as they navigate anxiety, depression, self-esteem, intimacy, communication, and marital or premarital concerns. I also welcome conversations around spirituality and personal values when they are an important part of a client’s experience.
Outside of therapy, I enjoy spending time with my husband, our children, and our grandchild, as well as spending time with my parents, siblings, my nephew and my soon to be here, niece. I love being outdoors, especially hiking, as well as traveling and discovering new places and experiences. I also enjoy settling in with a good book or sharing a favorite meal while watching a movie or show. The relationships and experiences in my own life continue to shape me, teach me, and remind me of the importance of connection, family, and being present for the people we love.
